ACCOYO SATIN RAIN is full Accoyo and well deserving of the title. She has a fleece with exceptional character with high luster, density, fineness and consistent locks from head to toe. She has grown well and is conformationally well balanced with strong bone and good capacity and she has a beautiful head like her sire.
Her sire is the multiple champion, Rockstar son, Candlewood Accoyo DaVinci who is known for his highly lusterous, fine fleece and strong Accoyo phenotype. DaVinci brings Accoyo genetics from his sire Rockstar, Torbio and Accoyo Luna the well known dam of Baron Lafite. Satin Rain's dam, WWF Dancing Rain, is a award winning Camion daughter adding this more rare Accoyo line to the mix.
At GWAS, the largest alpaca show in 2010, Satin Rain placed 4th in a highly competitive class of 14. Comments by Judge Amanda Vandenbosch - "Beautiful luster with a dense well locked fleece. Well grown for age." She was also in the group for her sire, Accoyo Davinci that placed 2nd in Get of Sire at GWAS.
We had planned to show Satin Rain again in the spring, however she has grown so well we decided to breed her for a cria next year. She is bred to Accoyo Golden Beau, a beautiful fawn Uribe son, who has sired many champions and she is due September 2011.
Add this fine example of the Accoyo tradition to your herd and after she delivers her full Accoyo cria bring her back to breed to fawn, full Accoyo Pulitzer. All purchased females receive a 50% breeding discount for life.
